Mactan Manpower Solutions, Inc. (MMSI) is a SEC Registered company who is into manpower services supplying manpower requirements of Export Zone locators in the country.

Feeling the demand for an efficient and dedicated manpower resource necessary for the manufacturing operations within the Mactan Economic Zones (MEZ 1, 2 and CLIP – Cebu Light Industrial Park) and elsewhere, a group of long-time friends experienced in various industries pooled their talents and capabilities together forming a new company.

Engineer Virgilio S. Pongase (BOD), a patriarch in a construction conglomerate, led the group to a successful launching of the MACTAN MANPOWER SOLUTIONS, INC. (MMSI), the date of registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Immediately thereafter, it was granted a DOLE Certificate of Registration under DO 18-A which was recently upgraded to DO 174.

Engineer Virgilio S. Pongase (BOD), as he is fondly called, brought with him the natural talent of leadership and the values of hard work, dedication to duty, honesty and loyalty to the company. Together with the inputs from other business partners who were exposed to the culture of discipline, respect for authority, excellence at work – formed the basis for a well-balanced organization.

The first batch of our employees, who were assigned at MEZ 1, saw the light of an emerging company that nurtures the well-being of people working under its banner. Gradually, the company expanded its clientele within CLIP and the neighbouring town of Cordova. In due time, the record of its excellent service to clients and manifest care for its employees brought about goodwill and an upbringing of the standards of performance of legally contracted employees.

Introduction

Mactan Manpower Solutions Incorporated (MMSI), is a manpower service provider that tailors the need of different industries well within and outside Mactan Economic Zone. MMSI advocate of helping the government in nation building, resolve unemployment by providing employment opportunity to qualified individuals compliant to Department Order 174-17, to help improve the lives and achieve better future individuals.

MMSI is a corporation duly registered by Security and Exchange and Department of Labor and Employment. MMSI started on July 02, 2014 as an accredited local manpower agency with a headcount of less than 100 under DO 174-17A.

Presently, MMSI has a total organic workforce of 14 including its Board of Directors. A total of more or less 800 workers are deployed in 18 client-locators in various economic zones of Lapu-Lapu City and other nearby cities of Cebu.

MMSI focuses on recruitment, such as background verification, screening, deployment and HR consulting. With a robust database of pre-screened candidates and a team of experienced recruiters, MMSI able to respond quickly to client needs, whether for temporary staffing, contract-based roles or permanent placements.

MMSI is driven by values of professionalism, reliability, and ethical recruitment. MMSI, maintain full compliance with local labor laws ensuring clients satisfaction and workers welfare.
